Welcome! My name is Emily. This is my journal I use for fandom and personal entries. I'm an author with a lot of time on my hands and way too many ideas. My interests change frequently, but if you're okay with that then this might be a journal you want to subscribe to. I enjoy talking on here so don't worry over being weird about sending a comment or private message. Anyone can subscribe or unsubscribe as they desire. There are no posts to give access to so you don't have to wonder about that either. Just be cool and I'll be cool back.
I got into fandom around the same time my family got the internet when I was 12. I didn't start seriously writing fanfic until I was 15, although I was telling a lot of terrible stories previously. Like many people, I came to learn a lot about myself through fandom and experienced less heartache by leaning on it as well. It's taught me how to write stories and motivates me to use the creativity I have to share with others. I like being here and would like to stay as long as I need it.
I believe in pro-shipping/pro-fiction/anti-censorship ideals, so if that's not your thing it's best to just move along. Likewise, I'm an inclusionist so don't bark up that tree either. If you're confrontational about these things I believe in, keep your distance, stay in your lane and we'll never have to see each other. Thank you.
